I finally got out with the tripod. The lights on the house and lawn were set to warm white for the photo because the functions they were programmed don't photograph in a still.

The boys and I went to Sam's Club today to order their cakes for their birthday party this Saturday. The bakery worker gave them each a cookie while I filled out the orders. I didn't even know they did that there! Settings: ISO 400 SS 1/125 Aperture 4.0 Focal length 30mm No flash

Tonight was Connor's first time going to sleep without nursing first. I think he is officially weaned. He last nursed this morning before I went to work. For those that worry about things like that, he didn't go to bed with a bottle or sleep with a bunch of blankets and pillows. When he finished I took the bottle and put him in his crib. January 25

Today was finally the day to take down the temporary garage studio. I have been putting it off because it's so easy to stick the kids out there and take their pictures every day, but it's getting to be a pain to go around everything to get to the car. Before the studio came down though, we blew up a bunch of red balloons and shot Valentines for Logan's daycare and preschool classes. There were 6 different shots I had printed as a 4x6 at Costco and put lollipops in place of the balloon Logan was holding. I think they turned out pretty cute!
